Guest Society and Co-Branded Initiatives
If your organization has interest in partnering with AAHKS as a Guest Society or for a Co-Branded Meeting, please contact Joshua Kerr, director of advocacy and international activities, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
AAHKS is committed to increasing the presence of international societies, their scientific research, and their members at our Annual Meetings to ensure we bring international perspectives and expertise to our members. At our 2015 Annual Meeting, we started our 1st Annual Guest Society Program, where we invite Arthroplasty societies from across the globe to partner with AAHKS and attend our Annual Meeting.
We look forward to future Guest Societies joining our program to expand the reach of arthroplasty research and exchanges internationally to the mutual benefit of all organizations involved.
2016 Guest Societies:
The Indian Society for Hip & Knee Surgeons (ISHKS) | Guest Society Flyer
The European Knee Society (EKS)
AAHKS as a Guest Society
AAHKS Members will receive the BHS member registration rate and a free copy of the Bone and Joint Journal. Register here. See you in March!
You will not only be able to visit with local colleagues and get an inside view of the National Health System (NHS) but you will also be paired up with a British surgeon with whom to exchange ideas and thoughts about the differences in both clinical practice patterns and payment models. The social events in the evening will be worth the trip given the spectacular locations our hosts have selected in the heart of London. We are sure that you will have an experience to remember and forge new friendships that will last a lifetime. Sign up, and join us in London in March 2017.
– Stefano Bini, MD, Chair, International Committee
AAHKS believes that a greater interface with international orthopaedic societies with a similar focus on Hip and Knee surgery and patient care will serve to further our core mission and yours. For that reason, we have developed the co-branded meeting to foster a direct exchange of knowledge and information between AAHKS and international societies, create lasting professional and social connections between AAHKS and participating societies and their members, as well as broadening the reach of our educational mission. The Co-Branded meetings are intended to create lasting relationships between our societies and, as importantly, our members.
