Humanitarian Award Can Benefit Your Organization

In addition to presenting the AAHKS Humanitarian Award to an AAHKS member each year, AAHKS makes a $5,000 donation to the humanitarian medical organization in which the recipient is involved. The three organizations that have benefited from the donation in the three years since the inception of the award are: Operation Walk Maryland, Operation Walk USA and Faith in Practice.

The Humanitarian Award recognizes AAHKS members who have distinguished themselves through providing humanitarian medical services and programs with a significant focus on musculoskeletal diseases and trauma including the hip and knee in the United States or abroad.

The nomination deadline for the 2017 AAHKS Humanitarian Award has been extended until April 28, 2017. Nominees are reviewed by the AAHKS Humanitarian Committee and will be asked to provide further details about themselves and their endeavors before the award recipient is selected. Nominate yourself or a colleague online today!
